Join us for CNU’s third transportation Summit—a two day working meeting to advance new urbanist transportation planning standards. At the summit, we will discuss an ongoing context sensitive design manual. This is a joint effort of CNU, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). The summit will be an opportunity to gather with other leading professionals to discuss transportation reform that will advance new urbanist street design and planning. The gathering of leading new urbanist transportation professionals offers both an overview on current projects that are changing transportation planning and engineering standards and offers an opportunity for CNU members to brainstorm new ideas. Kevin Klinkenberg of 180 Degrees Design is the local host for this summit.
