New Urban Free Agents, a network of architects and planners in the New Urbanism

New Urban Free Agents, sponsored by the New Urban Guild, is a network of free-agent planners, architects, and designers who have worked within the New Urbanism. “Almost all architecture and design firms have been laying off employees since the Meltdown,” says architect Steve Mouzon, founder of the New Urban Guild. “This means that when work does come in, the firms will likely be under-staffed.” New Urban Free Agents is set up as an organization that can quickly assemble a project team.
