ROBERT STEUTEVILLE    SEP. 1, 2008
The Warminster, Pennsylvania, Planning Commission unanimously approved a proposed 16-acre transit-oriented development, according to The Intelligencer newspaper. The plan, by developers J.G. Petrucci Co. of Asbury, New Jersey, will go to the board of supervisors for review. The mixed-use development would have 200 housing units. For the plan to get final approval, it would have to be rezoned as a TOD with up to 14 units per acre. The site is within walking distance of the Warminster rail station of SEPTA, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. The site is currently in industrial use.
