Three new urban neighborhoods were designed in early

Three new urban neighborhoods were designed in early July for developer Frank Liu in Houston, Texas, according to the Houston Chronicle. The projects were the first planned by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company in Houston. The sites include a 37-acre former industrial tract in the Fifth Ward that will have to be cleaned up by the developer.
Houston’s absence of zoning, and its limited development regulations, made it easier for Duany to work in that city compared to many other cities, Duany told the Chronicle.
