The view of Kunstler apprentice

In a graceful essay that concludes The KunstlerCast, Duncan Crary, 33, tells of hopeful things happening in Troy, and reflects on his four years of interviewing Kunstler — “an odd apprenticeship of sorts.” Says Crary: “It was a lucky happenstance for me that I was able to spend a great deal of time listening to and learning from one of the important minds of our era.”

“I say that knowing full well that Kunstler is not a mainstream intellectual,” Crary adds. “He is a voice from the margins, where he chooses to thrive. But what he taught me during our time together is no less relevant to the mainstream today than it was eighteen years ago when The Geography of Nowhere was first published.”
