At the RPA's assembly, New Urban News ran into Jebediah Reed

At the Regional Plan Association’s Regional Assembly in New York in April, New Urban News ran into Jebediah Reed, the young journalist who recently established the website The Infrastructurist. Reed says he envisions the site as an accessible place where general readers can learn about infrastructure issues. “The idea is to attempt to popularize questions and debates that heretofore have been limited to a fairly small audience,” he explained. Among the topics that The Infrastructurist has reported or commented on are efficient lighting systems, federal transportation stimulus funds, decaying urban streets and water lines, “the coming plague of empty superstores,” and “the 7 most ridiculous new roads being built in America.” See www.infrastructurist.com.
