The redevelopment of an Old Sawmill District approved

The redevelopment of an Old Sawmill District into a neighborhood has received approval from the City of Missoula, Montana. The 46-acre site will provide housing, common areas, commercial uses, and access to the existing riverfront trail and park system via a new 14-acre city park at the river’s edge, according to the design firm, WGM Group. Environmental cleanup of the site is currently underway, and infrastructure improvements are expected to begin in 2008.
