Leon Krier has designed a new building

Leon Krier has designed a new building for the University of Miami School of Architecture. The Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center is under construction and is slated to be completed this summer. A world-renowned architectural theorist who has been highly influential to new urbanists, Krier designed Prince Charles’s town Poundbury in England, and buildings in Seaside and Windsor, Florida. Krier’s community design for Meriam Park in Chico, California, is expected to start construction soon.
