The Town Group plans to break ground this

The Town Group plans to break ground this fall on Liberty, a 3,000-acre traditional neighborhood development (TND) in Riverside County, California. Designed by Cooper Robertson, the project is a series of seven villages on the edge of a lake, each with a town center and surrounding neighborhoods. The first phase of construction includes 1,200 residential units, with the first models scheduled to open in 2000. After buildout, the project will include 5,000 to 7,000 housing units and 50 percent open space. One of the seven villages will feature a retail center and entertainment district surrounding a minor league baseball field.
