After 13 years as the executive director of the Seaside Institute, Phyllis Bleiweis is retiring to live in Serenbe, a traditional neighborhood development in Palmetto, Georgia. Bleiweis will continue to work as a consultant for the Seaside Institute and other clients “for everything from community building, institute formation, educational programming, and forum moderation to whatever else will be useful and fun,” she says. Lisa Craig will be the Director of National Programs and Malayne DeMars will be Director of Local Programs at the Seaside Institute.
