Allan B. Jacobs Seaside Prize winner

Allan B. Jacobs, co-author of The Boulevard Book (2003) and author of Great Streets (1995), is this year’s winner of the Seaside Prize from the Seaside Institute. Jacobs and his partner, Elizabeth Macdonald, have an essay, “Queen Street,” in a newly published book by New Village Press, What We See: Advancing the Observations of Jane Jacobs. A professor emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, Jacobs consults on city planning and urban design.
