Announcing the urban Plan of the Month

Dear members of the New Urban Network community,

New Urban Network is starting a new, on-going feature: Plan of the Month. The feature is not only an opportunity to recognize excellent placemaking, but also a forum where everyone can learn about creative, award-winning plans. Be sure to check our website (www.newurbannetwork.com) regularly to catch up on the most successful urban plans and projects.

Is your plan the plan of the month? If so, send it in!

We are issuing an open call for innovative and exciting plans that touch on New Urbanism, smart growth, and walkable communities. Winning plans will be highlighted on the home page of our website for the entire month. New Urban Network may also wish to report on plans in our articles and features. Submissions should be recent plans, but all manner of plans will be accepted. To make a submission, please email a project summary of less than 500 words plus images and the plan, to rob@newurbannews.com. We look forward to seeing what you have been working on!
