Case studies sought

Case studies are sought for inclusion in a book that will focus on planning and design techniques that contribute to safer, more livable places. Crime prevention/reduction and public safety benefits of New Urbanism-based projects will be illustrated, according to Al Zelinka of Urban Design Studio, who will co-author the book with Dean Brennan of the City of Phoenix Planning Department. The American Planning Association’s Planners Press intends to publish the book.
