CNU looking for board candidates
ROBERT STEUTEVILLE    MAR. 12, 2013
The Congress for the New Urbanism in Chicago is looking for candidates for the Board of Directors. Three seats need to be filled. The call for applicants will close April 15. The current 21-member board includes architects and planners that make up nearly half of the board — but academics, public officials, developers, advocates, and an attorney also participate. They come from many states, most east of the Mississippi, and the West Coast could be better represented. Board members agree to attend board meetings, support the principles of the Charter, and make a good faith effort to raise $5,000 for CNU. Click here to find out more.
