CNU recently received funding from the Surdna
ROBERT STEUTEVILLE    NOV. 1, 1998
CNU recently received funding from the Surdna Foundation to support efforts to mobilize a constituency of critical mass for new urbanist approaches to urban revitalization. Two key projects have been funded: the Implementation Task Force will look at ways to reform development finance practices; the Inner City Task Force will continue to describe infill design principles and implementation strategies. This one-year grant will allow CNU to convene meetings of important leaders in these various arenas and commission studies of key barriers to change.
