Companies affiliated with the Mormon Church are planning a traditional neighborhood development in Kansas City, Missouri, to fulfill the city’s land use plan advocating mixed-use, high density development patterned after new urbanist plans in other parts of the country. The plan for the 2,250-acre site, an undeveloped parcel in the city, includes a corporate headquarters, a town square with offices on top of shops, single family units, and narrow residential streets with row houses.
