Dittmar thanks departing and emeritus board members
ROBERT STEUTEVILLE    JUL. 1, 2005
In his “State of CNU” address on the opening night of CNU, CNU board chair Hank Dittmar recognized the “immense contributions” of CNU cofounders Stefanos Polyzoides, Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, and Robert Davis, who have elected to become emeritus board members. By taking emeritus status, under the CNU bylaws, founders retain the right to attend board meetings and vote on motions, but do not count toward a quorum and do not remain liable for board actions. Dittmar also thanked a long-serving board member, Dallas-based developer Art Lomenick, who has chosen to resign from the board. The next issue of New Urban News will have a longer report on CNU’s impressive group of incoming board members — Ellen Dunhman-Jones, Dhiru Thadani, Douglas Farr, and Mike Krusee.
