Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company announces coming books
Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company has announced that the following books will be published in 2000 or 2001: DPZ: A Chronology of Buildings, by Joanna Lombard and Beth Dunlop and published by Princeton Architectural Press, will cover the architectural work of DPZ; The New Civic Art, which updates the 1922 Civic Art by Hegemann and Peets, is edited by Andres Duany and Robert Alminana and will be published by Rizzoli; Suburban Nation, by Andres Duany, Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, and Jeff Speck, will educate citizens that want to participate in the public planning process; The Book of Codes, by Andres Duany and attorney David Coffey will provide analysis of the 50 most influential and effective codes in the last 250 years; and Defending the New Urbanism, a collection of Duany’s letters, book reviews, and debates.
