Emily Talen is leaving the University of Illinois

Emily Talen is leaving the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she has taught planning, to become a professor in the Urban and Metropolitan Studies Program at Arizona State University’s new downtown Phoenix campus, located on a light rail line scheduled to open in 2008. She will have a joint appointment in the university’s new School of Sustainability.

Robert Steuteville, F-CNU, is editor of Public Square: A CNU Journal and senior communications adviser for the Congress for the New Urbanism.
