Geoff Dyer and Jaydean Boldt have ended their partnership in Civic Design Group in Calgary, Alberta, and established two separate firms. Dyer’s new firm, T|Six Office for Western Urbanism, will work on transit-oriented developments and other new urbanist projects in the Calgary area and western Canada. Dyer has also recently joined PlaceMakers as an urban designer and director of Canadian operations. Boldt’s new firm is New Urban Design Group, which recently completed an urban code and architectural pattern book for the Town of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and is working on projects ranging from urban infill to large-scale community planning, with an emphasis on medieval town planning principles.
