Patrick L. Phillips to head ULI

Patrick L. Phillips, president and CEO of ERA AECOM (formerly Economics Research Associates), will become the new CEO of the Urban Land Institute Sept. 14. It appears that ULI will continue to emphasize smart growth policies, which have become a strong focus of the organization in the past five years. According to a ULI news release, Phillips sees sustainability, “connecting infrastructure and land use planning,” workforce housing, and capital markets as ULI priorities that are “relevant in the current economic environment.”
