A plan for development in D’Iberville, Mississippi, including a casino district that would complement the waterfront, has been drawn up by Miami architect and planner Jaime Correa for presentation to the city’s Planning Commission Feb. 27 and possible submittal to the City Council in March. The casinos would be in small buildings with an old style of architecture, and their garages would be hidden in the buildings’ centers, The SunHerald reported. City planner Jeff Taylor said D’Iberville, under the SmartCode, would feature mixed-use buildings and would be very walkable.
