Urban Design Associates has led the re-shaping of the charrette model to not only project the reactivation of neighborhoods, streets, and public spaces, but to be part of the reactivation. For example, the Norfolk Downtown Arts and Design District is a @36.856297,-76.288577,18z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89ba9813fe4c946d:0x562e7023287adfad">15-square block area at the northern edge of downtown Norfolk, Virginia where a joint effort between the Downtown Norfolk Council, major civic institutions, non-profits, property owners, and the City of Norfolk is yielding extraordinary results.
