Tim Keane, former director of planning for Charleston, creates firm

Tim Keane, an architect and former director of planning for Charleston, South Carolina, and Davidson, North Carolina, has created an urban design and development firm called Keane & Company, based in Charleston. Keane hired Jacob Lindsey, a University of Georgia graduate in landscape architecture and cofounder of that school’s chapter of Students for the New Urbanism. Their first project is Mixson Avenue in Charleston, an infill project developed by the I’On Group, formerly known as Civitas.
