TOD zoning resource

CNU members should watch their mailboxes for issue eight of Zoning Practice of the American Planning Association, provided as a CNU membership benefit. Produced in cooperation with CNU, this issue focuses on creating and modifying zoning codes to deal with the challenges and reap the rewards of transit-oriented development. Articles in this issue address the need for a distinct vocabulary of codes that account for the diverse types of places reached by public transit. Such a range of codes is critical to allowing developers to take advantage more readily of an asset that can improve walkability, increase access to retail shops and other businesses, and connect communities to others in the region.
