Urban Design Associates announces Nickol and O’Hara appointments

Urban Design Associates (UDA) appoints Joseph R. Nickol, AICP, as Associate Principal and Megan O’Hara, AICP, LEED AP bd+c as Associate. 

Joseph Nickol, a member of the firm since 2004, has led urban design, planning and real estate development projects in North America and abroad. His focus is on the regeneration of our towns, cities, and neighborhoods and using the lessons of those places to inform the design of new districts and towns that are inherently highly adaptable and resilient.           

Megan O'Hara, a member of the firm since 2005, facilitates the revitalization of urban environments through the design of contextual infill, mixed-use and transit-oriented development, form-based codes, and design guidelines. She has a passion for helping communities create shared visions for equitable and sustainable futures and helping public and private clients chart implementable paths to achieving these visions.
