CNU New York and the Community Design Center Rochester invite you to CNU 24 Preview: Transforming Places in Rochester New York featuring local and national New Urbanist speakers, mobile workshops, and a preview of CNU24 in Detroit. Held in the East End Entertainment District of downtown Rochester, you will learn about CNU24 and meet the urban design professionals, developers, and community leaders who are spearheading the efforts to make exemplary places in the “lake belt.”

Come to Rochester’s East End to learn about CNU 24 and meet the activists, developers, professionals and local officials who are leveraging the region’s resources, infrastructure and setting to places people care about.

Who should go? Activists interested in sustainable policies and practices, Realtors and citizens interested in Smart Growth, Architects working to heal the public realm, Planners interested in Smart Code and Context Sensitive Solutions, Developers interested in financing and marketing the best projects in cities, suburbs and villages, and local officials who want their communities to be places people care about.

The East End Entertainment District in Rochester is a historic, walkable, mixed-use neighborhood with world class dining, nightlife, entertainment, and the arts. Expect a relaxed program with plenty of time for conversation, organizing and networking, featuring marquee speakers as well as local activists and professionals.
