Project Manager
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 /yr
Summary
A highly-organized, highly-communicative, and creative Project Manager with a strong foundation in urban planning. The ideal candidate will be experienced in – and passionate about – human-centered urban design, transportation, public space, placemaking, architecture.
Role
- Lead regular project communications with all partners and stakeholders, including community groups, local businesses, residents, city departments, and agencies
- Develop and maintain project schedules and deadlines -Direct and/or contribute to production of all deliverables throughout the project life cycle -Develop, track, and maintain project budgets
- Lead or support digital and in-person/on-site engagement activities
- Conduct project/site surveys and prepare analysis reports
- Lead collaboration with internal design staff and external client/partner teams to develop physical design, policy, and project implementation plans
- Contribute to the firm’s marketing, business development, and communication efforts as time permits
Experience
- 5 – 10 years experience managing transportation or urban design projects, ideally managing “Quick-Build” / Tactical Urbanism, placemaking, and/or urban design projects for public, private, and/or non-profit sector clients – from inception to completion.
- Undergraduate degree in urban planning/design/policy and/or architecture required
- Masters degree preferred

- Quantitative and Qualitative analysis capabilities
- Spanish language proficiency a plus, but not required
Technical Skills
- Fluency with Google Workspace (Google Drive, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Forms…)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and AutoCAD required.
- Rhino, ArcGIS, and SketchUp skills are a big plus
