Coordinates project design, develops creative design concepts for projects, and prepares presentation and design drawings. Certification as a licensed professional is required.
Responsibilities
- Works independently on architectural design projects.
- Often coordinates project design efforts.
- Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.
- Substantial experience in providing planning and design support in the preparation of design development.
- Written and verbal communication with clients, engineers and architects.
Qualifications
- Required Experience: Five to ten years of experience in an architectural firm.
- Required Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited program
- Required Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in BIM (ArchiCAD a major plus) + rendering/modeling/graphic experience. Experience with multi-family residential planning/design is preferred.
- Working Conditions: Typical office environment. Occasional long hours to meet deadlines. Occasional visits to construction sites.
