At Union Studio Architecture & Community Design, we use the power of design to enrich lives and strengthen communities.

We are seeking an Architect or Designer to join our recently established Philadelphia office in the historic Hale Building in Center City. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and experience working in and around the Philadelphia area. As a member of this studio, you will help shape our practice and build our momentum in the mid-Atlantic while also collaborating with project teams in our Providence office.

We work on projects at a variety of scales and contexts, and team members typically work across multiple project types. You’ll actively participate in all stages of design, presentation, documentation, and construction administration, and you will play an active role in shaping the design of our projects and the experience that colleagues, clients, and collaborators have when they work with us.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong communicator and collaborator with all members of project and client teams
• Commitment to sustainable planning and building practices
• Demonstrated experience creating presentation drawings, schematic designs, and design and documentation in Revit
• Experience in the Philadelphia region and an interest in business development here
